This is for the first time I am going to share here about the mood swings I normally face due to pcos.

I was diagnosed with pcos from past seven years and since then my life is never being the same. I had a roller coaster ride throughout these seven years. I even faced depression where I had no one to help me. I came to know through my doctor that this hormonal imbalance will cause mood swings and they will change frequently.

During this courtship of seven years I made so many new friend, where I left them or they left me due to certain circumstances. All I can say is I was trying to seek my happiness by being depend on others.

When the doctor told me I have to be happy and lead a healthy lifestyle to overcome my irregular periods. I took her words seriously thinking what am I missing in my life?  I found the reason and it was a companionship. I wanted a friend in my life who could make me happy and take care of me. I wasn’t like I was looking for dating someone but all I need was someone with whom I can share my happiness and sorrows. It wasn’t like I couldn’t take care of myself but I just wanted to share all my feelings with one person who would understand and support me.

I finally found my best friend who could understand me, support me in everything and yes I was happy. My depression and irregular periods was fading. I was happy. But it is said happiness doesn’t stay for long and so did my best friend. My only best friend made me feel like I was nothing. This lead to many mood swings and after that I tried making new friends but it hardly last for a month or two.

I could not understand what was happening with me so I isolated myself between four walls rather than meeting people. I was wrong about finding my happiness in others. This made me lonely, detached with people which made everything worse. But slowly with passing years I learned how to be emotionally self reliant. I would say it is still in process 😉 This helped me with my depression and mood swings. So I would say do whatever you love to do and seek happiness within you.  ❤

Twist roll tweezers – Review

I have facial hair since my childhood days but once I was diagnosed with pcos I could see more dark thick facial hairs on my face. When I first saw the difference I was shocked that this one of the symptoms of pcos is affecting me now, my whole face slowly was covered with thick hairs which made my face look more dark and dull. It was visible if one observed my face well. It was embarrassing as being female I wanted to have a beautiful face and this thing was ruining my face. I couldn’t take it but I researched a lot and couldn’t find anything that could help me out, mostly was looking for some home remedies that could make a difference but nothing worked. I tried few mask but it didn’t do what it claimed so started looking for other options.

Had heard about laser treatment was expensive and skeptical about it, so went this cheap and painful method to see how that will remove the facial hairs and it did work for me. I bought it online and it was cheap. I watched few videos to check how to do it and get the reviews about the product and finally used it. It was more like treading but doing it with a spring by ourselves. It was painful as those hairs were so thick and they were coming out.The different can be seen with before and after photos and yes acne or hair bums may  arise but fades in two or three days.

Though the pain did it work, I saw the difference and it was pretty good, could clear almost all my thick facial hairs and it took me around an hour half for the first time as I was slow and couldn’t bear the pain when the hairs were being plucked by it. My cheeks were red and I washed my face with mild scrub and then pat dry, applied moisturizer cream. I found this helpful and now I continue doing it, hairs does grow due to hormonal imbalance but it takes time like for me in two months hairs are fully grown but it may differ from  person to person. I am planning to buy a electric tweezers in future but for now I will work on my thick facial hairs with this.-Manu

What is Pcos?

pcos

A lot of females like me don’t really know what is PCOS and doctor doesn’t make you aware of what are you diagnosed with and how to overcome the problem what you are facing in your monthly cycle.

PCOS is Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome where there are multiple ovarian cysts in an ovary. (Ovaries surrounded with multiple tiny cyst) This leads to irregularity of periods and hormonal imbalance which again leads to major disease like type 2 diabetes, thyroid, high blood pressure, obesity and infertility, if not taken proper care. Every female body differs with its symptoms and with proper treatment one can control it.

There is no evidence of how is one diagnosed with pcos but as far as I can tell with my experience is that it might be due to the unhealthy lifestyle where I used to consume junk food everyday. There was no proper nutrient intake and no exercise.

Slowly I stopped having my monthly cycles and eventually could see the difference in my weight, I had gained five kg in few months. I didn’t really care about anything those days and that lead to symptoms of pcos which I will explain in my next post.

What do I miss about my childhood?

I am little scared as I really don’t know how to put words to my childhood memories. We all have been in this stage of life where we all experience most of the innocent thing happening around us. Childhood days are the most wonderful days in everyone’s life and I am sure everyone enjoy these days to the core.

What do I miss about my childhood?

There are many things I miss from my childhood days. Waking up in the morning with the kiss and pamper from mom, getting chocolates and ice creams from dad, blessings of elders, doing silly mistakes, not worrying or thinking about anything in your life, playing all time with friends, sleeping everyday not thinking what’s tomorrow going to be like. So in short Living the Moment.

These are things which I miss but more I miss being social.

During my school days I had good number of friends, and they were good friends I can say. I played many outdoor games with my school friends, we used to share all our little secrets and laugh on our stupid talks. We loved sitting on the terrace and watch the sky for hours. I miss my friends a lot and the time which I had spent with them.  But I loved being part of each and every thing. I used to participate in many other cultural activities such as singing, dancing, rangoli, art, drawing and painting.

Even being in India and following an Hindu religion we have ample of festivals in a year, it seems like your whole year is accompanied with some or the other festival which we do celebrate and I have enjoyed all the festivals in a wonderful way being child. Even I used to go for swim class during my summer holidays.

Life was different when I was a kid. Memories from Childhood are the best memories ever.
